Beaver numbers limited in the wild but not at Parades!

3 April 2013

As you wildlife lovers will know Beavers became extinct in the wild in the UK around 400 years ago.  There is, however a program of reintroduction ongoing in various places including Scottish Beavers (as shown on Springwatch) and even in the Cotswolds Water Park.

It would seem that this program isn’t needed in Clitheroe with a fantastic Beaver turn out at the Easter Church Parade. With Jo and Tracy leading from the front.

Thanks to the following boys (and Parents) for supporting this occasion:
– tom barrett, tom hancock, billy worthy, mikey worthy, george rose, max edmonson, george morgan, jacob bleasard, james inghan and joshua hilary.

Also well done and thanks to ethan Clark and harry Knight for being the only representatives for Cubs and Scouts.
