Crosshills Quarry Clean up
Tonight Mon 24th June the Cubs and Scouts have completed their better late than never task for Scout community week by cleaning up an area of Lancashire Wildlife Trust Nature reserve – Crosshills Quarry.
We filled 3 large 1 tonne bags full of scrap metal and a number of other bags of plastic bottles and general rubbish.
Thanks to the boys for the hard work and the parents for providing buckets, wheelbarrows and trailers to remove the rubbish.
Thanks also to Hanson Cement for use of the car park.
