Where are we camping
It’s been a while, but the leadership team are pleased to announce that we are going camping again.
Full details will follow via the website/this post but as this is relatively short notice we wanted to get information out as soon as possible
So here is the initial information:
From Friday 18th Sept (around 6pm) to Sun 20th Sept (around 3pm) we will be under canvas at Bowley International Camp Site in Great Harwood.
Full details of the activities for the weekend to follow, plus kit lists, contact info etc.
To assist in our planning we would be grateful if you could update the following form indicating if you wish to join camp, or if you can’t.
If any adults wish to support please also indicate (please note that we may not be able to accommodate all requests).
- Kit List
Please see the attached kit list for this camp.
Please ensure that your Cub/Scout knows where things are in their bag, and packs in line with the requirements ie first night they will need to be access quickly sleeping gear, something to eat off, torch and wash kit. Please note also the items that MUST be handed to a leader as you leave you son/daughter with us.
Please dont forget to provide a chair to sit on, and appropriate clothing to suit the forecasted conditions, kit lists should be seen as a guide to the minimum requirements, you know whether your child feels the cold etc.
Most importantly if you are unsure or have questions please ask, please please do not worry.
