Beavers and Scouts as normal times and locations
To celebration 100 yesrs of Cubs the District kindly held a Party at St Mary’s Centre Hall.
Thanks to the STMMSG Leaders and other leaders across the District for giving up their evening, so the Cubs could have such fun!

As normal we will be holding our end of year Bar-B-Q at Low Moor Club on Monday 25th July starting at 18:30 (Bar will be open no later than 7pm) till around 21:00.
The evening will also include a sports/games night for the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

Well tonight the return of an old favorite, not the best weather leading up to the event, but at least it stayed dry, well the weather not the Cubs & Scouts.
Well Monday it was hot, so an ideal time for a dip in the Bowley pond.
Unfortunately it was more wood floating away from Barrels, instead of Rafting, so it was lucky that it was warm.
But the knowledge of the key clove hitch and square lashing is definitely there, barrel securing needs more practice.

Well tonight it was Water Sports (Sailing and Windsurfing) at Rishton Reservoir, luckily the weather improved and it was a great sailing night.
Well done to all those who tried Windsurfing and Sailing on their own.

Another Eggstravaganza tonight, as we leave the Easter break! behind us, but the key question, how many eggs would safely reach the floor (yes the floor not the cardboard box stuffed with newspaper), after being dropped from 7ft!!
